I went to a concert of the Golden Earring today with a friend. I think they are the oldest still existing Dutch rock band in Holland. Most people know this band because of their numbers "Radar Love" or "Twilight Zone". I have to say that they gave a very, very nice show!!! The tickets were a lot cheaper then the tickets of the Rolling Stones last year, but I think their show is better then the one from the Rolling Stones. The Rolling Stones may have more fireworks, Golden Earring didn't have any fireworks, but I would go to the Golden Earring again, but I won't spend that much money to see the Rolling Stones again.
The show began around 20.15 o'clock with the pre-show (Coolzero), which was a pretty good, they had some rock songs, but they also had a very nice rock ballad "someday". They played for about an hour and after a 15 mins break the Golden Earring came on stage. They played longer then expected, because it was already 11.30 o'clock when we left the building... After the concert we went to eat something and later we went home...
All in all, this was a very nice evening!!!
